Every Hafilat bus card carries a 16-digit serial on the back. It looks like a bank-card number but it does not identify a payment account — it identifies the card itself on the transit network.
Where the serial is printed
Flip your card over. The serial is printed above the magnetic strip in a single line, usually in a slim sans-serif font. It reads left-to-right regardless of the card orientation.
How to type it in the form
Type the digits without any spaces or dashes — the HafilatPass form spaces them automatically into four groups of four, so the field looks like 1234 5678 9012 3456. Anything that is not a digit is ignored.
What if the print is worn away
Old cards sometimes lose the serial after months in a wallet. If you cannot read it, tap the card at any Abu Dhabi bus reader and look at the printed slip if one is offered — or visit a Hafilat kiosk to have the card checked. Once you have the serial, come back and start a request.
