How real balances are read

The Hafilat card is a stored-value transit card. Its balance lives on the card itself and is updated by the bus reader when you tap in. HafilatPass does not query the transit authority — we only handle top-up requests.

If you'd like a live balance, tap your card at any Abu Dhabi bus reader or a Hafilat kiosk. When your last top-up completes, the balance shows on the next tap.
